She is ready to welcome us with a smile in her and Tom Bombadill’s home. Who wouldn’t like to be welcomed like the four wandering hobbits?
Even amid the overwhelming and restless journey through the Old Forest, there is a safe haven somewhere. Goldberry is waiting for us there, surrounded by lilies. Meeting her, just like cool water on a hot day, will give us a moment of respite.
