Pet Portraits

A painting of a Maltese dog on a galaxy background. The portrait is surrounded by paints, a brush, and a palette.

Your pet makes you smile. You love playing together. This happiness, brightness, and fun should and can be captured!

A colorful, shiny, and playful portrait of your lovely companion is a great way to celebrate the time spent together. It is also a perfect present for your loved ones who have their own furry friend!

Painted with the classic, highly pigmented Winsor & Newton gouaches on 100% cotton, cold-pressed 300gsm Arches paper, with a generous touch of sparkling, metallic Kuretake watercolors. These paintings really shine! Just as our lovely pets shine in our hearts and families.

Commissions step-by-step

I’ll explain here how the whole process goes! Of course, before the commission starts, you can just send me an email with a general inquiry or any questions. I’m more than happy to clarify things and make the whole commission experience as enjoyable as possible. Just send me an email at:

Okay, let’s start!

First, you send me an email at: with the following information:

  • number of portraits,
  • number of pets in one portrait (a small size is suitable for one pet but I could try to make a composition of two headshots if you’d like),
  • preferred size of the portrait – small/medium/large or exact measurements from the above list (+ if you use inches or centimeters),
  • well-lit and good-quality photo of your pet,
  • any preferences regarding the colors, background, ornaments, etc. Whether you have lots and lots of ideas or would like to be surprised by me – it’s all good! We can also come up with ideas in the discussion process before taking a commission.
  • Any other information that you think is important e.g. deadline.

The rest of the payment is made after receiving a sketch. The sketch will be a loose, digital composition consisting of your photo and my drawing, and it should give you a general concept of colors and ornaments based on your preferences.

Payment is made through Stripe (credit cards + depending on where you live also Apple Pay/Google Pay and other methods). If you live in the EU and pay in euros, you can also pay through SEPA bank transfer!

The painting process usually takes between 1 week and 1 month. If you need a painting before a specific date, we can discuss it and I’ll do what I can to provide you with the best service.

Shipping time depends on where you live. It can take up to a few weeks, so if you’d like much faster delivery, you can choose UPS, FedEx, or another carrier for an additional payment on your side. Just let me know and I’ll check out the rates!
