Much could be written about her relationship with Fëanor and their sons. However, the drawing focuses on the artistic side of Nerdanel.
Like many elves, she is the epitome of a creative passion. Her sculptures were full of life, sometimes of amazing shapes, perhaps even abstract. Nerdanel generously shared them with others, not so much loving the artwork itself, but rather the process of its creation.
