Refund policy

You may withdraw from the contract of sale within 14 days of getting the items without giving any reasons and without any additional costs. You just have to inform me within those 14 days you want to return the item you bought and then you have another 14 days to return it to me. The sample withdrawal form is available at https://magdalenaolechny.com/forms/, but it is not obligatory to use it.

I would refund you the cost of the item and the cost of the basic form of shipment (unless the shipment is free), which is shipment by national post services. I may withhold the refund of payments received from you until I receive the items back or until you provide proof of sending them back, depending on which event will happen sooner.

The product may be unpacked and initially tested but it may not have any traces of use. You are liable for any reduction in the value of the items resulting from using them in a way that goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of them. I have the right to make deductions from your payment. You also bear the direct costs of returning the item to me.

There are some exceptions to this right of withdrawal. They are described in detail in my Terms of Service (please read them thoroughly, you must accept them to make a purchase) but the most common example would be a product made to your specifications eg. an art commission.

As a seller, I am responsible for damaged, misplaced, or stolen packages. Yes, that is right! I know it is often put on the client but the law in Poland is very clear about this. If your items are damaged or lost by the carrier, I will send you a replacement. Of course, it is not possible when it comes to original paintings or some limited-edition items that are sold off – I would refund you in such a case.

You are obliged to examine the shipment at the time and in the manner accepted for shipments of this type. If you find that the items were lost or damaged during transport, you are obliged to take all actions necessary to establish the carrier’s liability, e.g. by writing a damage report. I would also ask you to send me pictures of the damaged item.

It is my responsibility to deal with the shipping service but if you were kind enough to help me with contacting your local post office/carrier (especially if there is a language barrier), I would be grateful!

If you notice any mistakes in your address, please write to me as soon as possible! There is a chance to correct it before shipping.

If you do not collect the items (for example because of the wrong delivery address) or refuse to do so and they possibly return to me, you may be obliged to compensate me for any costs resulting from that e.g. shipping costs, customs fees, etc.
